I had an oil-free deep fryer delivered recently. Indeed, I monitor a little more my diet and that of my family. By the way, with the doctor's advice, I try as little as possible to consume fat. However, I quickly tired of cooking with steam. The preparations are bland and have no taste. A friend then advised me, the fryer without oil. Thanks to this machine, I can now enjoy fried dishes without fear of eating the wrong fats. Here is a recipe I love, my onion ring recipe that I used to make with my Air Fryer.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 big onions
- 2 eggs
- 50 g of cornflour
- 100 g of flour
- 80 g of breadcrumbs
- 2 teaspoons of Provence herbs
- a tablespoon of vegetable oil
To season everything, We need a little salt and pepper.
Preparation
For starters, I first take care of the main ingredient that is an onion. I cut the onions into thick slices and put them aside when finished. Then I take a big bowl and I mix flour, maïzena, and herbes de Provence. In another container, I beat the eggs. I then gently take a slice of onion, roll it into the mixture of flour and cornflour, then I immerse it in the beaten eggs and I cover it all with breadcrumbs for a crisp effect during the tasting. I repeat the same steps for all the onion rings and I put everything in a dish.
Cooking
To begin, I preheat my oil-less fryer at 180 ° C for 2 to 3 minutes. Then I spray some olive oil on the onions before placing them in the cooling plate of the oil-less fryer. Once all the onions are well placed in the fryer, I set the cooking for 10 minutes for a temperature of 180 ° C. After the given time, I gently return each onion. Then I finish cooking, for 5 minutes more, always at the same temperature. The onions will be deliciously crispy at the tasting.
